As many as 30,000 Princess Irene tulip bulbs are going into the ground this fall as part of a campaign by Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation led this year by one of the builders of the new Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre.
A huge thanks to Burnaby Lake Greenhouses for donating the tulips, to Diamond Delivery for supplying delivery trucks, and to Surrey Firefighters for helping to load up. Our planters are out and with about one week of sunshine should start to show some beautiful color in celebration of community support for our hospital.
