Surrey, B.C. – Thousands of Princess Irene tulip bulbs are going into the ground this fall as part of a Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation campaign led by one of Canada’s largest real estate development companies.
Foxridge Homes – a Qualico company – has made a $100,000 donation to the Foundation in honour of Tulips for Tomorrow, which is an appeal by the Foundation to raise money for Surrey Memorial Hospital and beautify the community.
Holland Park and Surrey Memorial Hospital are the focal points of Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation’s third annual Tulips for Tomorrow spring bloom.
During April, both locations will each feature close to 200 planter pots full of Princess Irene tulips as part of the Foundation’s campaign to support the hospital and beautify the community.
A spring celebration of tulips in bloom is soon going to be underway. Thousands of tulips at Surrey Memorial Hospital are poking up out of the ground and planters at Burnaby Lake Greenhouses are sprouting up.
